Clinical notes

Pertussis, atypicals.

10 mg/kg on day 1 then 5 mg/kg. That is 10 mg/kg per dose.

The maximum single dose is 500 mg. Weight-based calculation should never exceed this ceiling.

Azithromycin is given by PO/IV, daily.
