How content on PediRounds is sourced, reviewed, updated and corrected.

Sourcing

Content is compiled from standard paediatric references and current national guidance, including the IAP-ACVIP immunisation schedule for vaccine content. Values are cross-checked between sources where they differ, and where a meaningful difference persists the page says so rather than silently choosing one.

Review before publication

Clinical content is reviewed by Dr Santanu Ghosh (MBBS, MD Paediatrics (Army), IDPCCM (IAP, ICH Kolkata)) before it is published. The review is recorded against the exact version of the content reviewed, so a later edit does not silently inherit an earlier approval.

Updates

Immunisation content is reviewed when the IAP-ACVIP schedule is revised. Drug, infusion and protocol content is reviewed when a source guideline changes or when a correction is received. Each page shows the date it was last reviewed.

Corrections

Every page carries a Report an error link. Reports from clinicians are read and acted on. If a value is wrong it is corrected and the page is re-reviewed; the reviewed date changes accordingly.

Independence

PediRounds carries no advertising and no sponsored content. No pharmaceutical company, device manufacturer or other commercial party funds, reviews or influences any clinical content on this site.

Limitations

PediRounds is a quick-reference aid, not a prescribing system or clinical decision support. It cannot account for an individual patient's condition, comorbidities, renal or hepatic function, or concurrent medicines. Verify every value against a current formulary, the product insert and your local protocol before administration.
