Adverse events (AEFI)
Mild local pain/swelling; transient fever. >90% seroconversion; efficacy 80–87% over 2 years.

Special considerations
Preferred over older Vi-polysaccharide (Typbar, VacTyph, Bio-Typh — needs age ≥2 yr, revaccination every 3 yr). Store 2–8°C, do not freeze.
