Catch-up schedule
First dose must be given before 15 weeks; series completed by 8 months of age. Do not initiate late.
Adverse events (AEFI)
Mild transient diarrhoea/vomiting, irritability. Small risk of intussusception (highest after 1st dose). Efficacy 85–98% (HIC/MIC); India ~60%.

Special considerations
Rotavac-5D is a 3-dose 116E vaccine (≥10⁵ FFU/0.5 mL) stable at 2–8°C for full shelf life (no −20°C needed). Age limits are strict due to intussusception risk. Contraindicated in SCID and prior intussusception. Store 2–8°C, protect from light.
